PE & Sports Premium


  • Due to Covid 19 we will continue to deliver an adapted sporting programme to ensure that everyone is safe:
  • After School Clubs:  These have already started and are now in Year Group Bubbles. There are still some places avaiavlable, contact the school office for information.
  • Swimming: The current news is that Year 5 will be able to restart Swimming in March 2021
  • PE: Continue as per school long term plan. Staff support, training for certain year groups from a PE specialist on a Friday morning.
  • Bikeability: Year 5 have had a successful course. Well done to everyone who took part.
  • Cross Country Competition ( School Games) : Cancelled - However we will look at running competition on site.
  • Virtual Competitions: Indoor Sports Hall Athletics Competition is underway this half term for some KS2 & 1 pupils.




At Healey School we target Year 4 & 5 pupils  to attend swimming lessons every week. This take place at Batley Sports and Tennis Centre.

There is a Swimmimg Gala at the end of the year which KS2 pupils participate in the Summer Term.
