05.04.17 - Football Skills Event

10 pupils from Year 2 took part in a football skills event at Batley Grammar.

Red Nose Day.... A huge Thankyou ! (Friday March 24th 2017)
 
The school raised over £300 by having a non-uniform day and a cake sale. Pupils also took part in a fun assembly where they told some hilarious jokes ! Thank you all for your generosity.
 

World Book Day - 02.03.17

World Book Day is a celebration! It’s a celebration of authors, illustrators, books and (most importantly) it’s a celebration of reading. In fact, it’s the biggest celebration of its kind, designated by UNESCO as a worldwide celebration of books and reading, and marked in over 100 countries all over the world.

Armistice Day - 11.11.16

Armistice Day is also known as Remembrance Day. It marks the day World War One ended, at 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month, back in 1918.

At 11:00am there will be a 1 minute silence.

Y5&6 will be visiting the local church to lay a wreath.

Children In Need - 18.11.16

We raised a total of £316

Children in Need is the BBC's UK Charity. They provide grants to projects in the UK which focus on children and young people who are disadvantaged.

Christmas Jumper Day - 16.12.16

Christmas Jumper Day is an annual fundraising campaign in the UK organised by charity Save the Children. People are encouraged to make the world better with a sweater and raise funds for Save the Children by wearing a Christmas jumper.
