Autumn 2 - English & Maths
In English pupils will be writing a Narrative based on a historical setting. They will be reading the book Street Child which is set during the Victorian era. This book will help them understand what life was like for a child in the past.
In Maths we will continue to develop pupils knowledge and understanding by adding and subtracting and multiplication and division.
Rights & Responsibilities
The Golden thread of all our learning will understand what Rights and Responsibilities means now and as you get older.
Our Historical topic this term will be to develop pupils undrstanding and historical knowledge beyond 1066 by looking at the impact of the Railways during the Victorian era and its significant impact on Batley.
