Covid-19 Safety Measures

We continue to provide support and assistance to families throughout the summer break.  There will be two members of staff available every Friday during the holidays.  So far, we have helped with food banks / housing / debt advice / family support in the home /  bahvaioural strategies  and routines within the home.  If you feel you need some help, please do not hesitate to contact us on 01924 326386.  Mrs Widdop and Mrs Kanpton will be available.

We remain committed to safeguarding our pupils throughout the period of school closure, and we are currently reviewing our safeguarding policy to ensure that our policies and practices are sufficiently robust in this new situation. The full guidance can be accessed here.

We will be working through this guidance and creating an addendum to our Child Protection policy, and will share this with parents and carers via updates.

Furthermore, we recognise that during this crisis, there may be a significant impact on the mental health of children and families.

The Department for Education has recently published guidance that may be helpful for parents to refer to.

If you have any specific concerns about your child’s mental health, wellbeing or safety, please contact the Safeguarding team via the school office number: 01924 326386 / email: office@healeyschool.co.uk.  Mrs Lang / Mrs Bradshaw / Mrs Widdop or Mrs Garforth will be available to help.
