School visit from Tracy Brabin, MP for Batley and Spen

A huge ‘Thank You’ to Tracy Brabin, Shadow Minister for Early Years Education and local MP for Batley and Spen, for visiting Healey School on Friday 29th SeptemberMrs Brabin praised all our hard working staff and thought that our children were absolutely delightful (which of course they are!).

Mr Farrow, our Chair of Governors, was in his element in speaking about political issues and challenges that schools face, especially with considering offering 30 hours of Nursery provision to those entitled.

We look forward to seeing Mrs Brabin again in the near future, to show off our exciting school developments.

Harvest lunch

Some of our children had the opportunity to prepare a harvest lunch and then share it with their parents and carers. Thank you to all the staff involved.
