Wellbeing at Healey School

Pupil Wellbeing

At Healey School we want our children, above all else, to be safe and happy.  We recognise the importance of looking after and developing our mental health and provide education and support to enable children and adults to develop their wellbeing.

All children are taught throughout the curriculum and specifically in Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education (PSHE) about how to look after their mental and physical health and to develop positive life habits. Children are taught how to make healthy choices. Information is shared with parents.

Staff Wellbeing

At Healey School, we are committed to making sure that our work place is a healthy and positive environment. It is important that our staff have time to recharge, spend time with their family, exercise and to take care of themselves, so that they are ready to do their best work, every single day. Our Staff Wellbeing Policy is holistic in its approach and will take into consideration the physical, spiritual, environmental, intellectual, emotional, occupational and mental health of all employees.
